The annual Round the Island Race 2016, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight. The race regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world and the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs.
For the Round the Island Race 2016 race we will be entering 'Quantum Leap' one our Jeanneau Sun Fast 37's and we have six berths available on board each yacht for this exciting race.

Hamble's 3 Day Programme
Friday 1st July - 0900 Training day, practicing tacking, gybing and spinnaker hoists and drops.
Saturday 2nd July - Race Day, early start leaving Hamble and then sailing the 60 miles around the Island to the finish line. Overnight berthing in Cowes* so you can take in the atmosphere.
Sunday 3rd July - Leisurely sail back to Hamble.
